APPLETON — Salvatore T. Vella passed away peacefully at his home in Appleton on Tuesday, March 27, 2018.

Born in Brooklyn, NY on May 16,1938, graduate of Georgia Tech, Sal was an international banker at Citibank, American Express and others in New York and abroad. In 1986 he relocated to Maine and bought the Camden Harbour Inn which he ran for 20 years. He is survived by his son Roger L .Vella of South Lake Tahoe, CA, his daughter Suzanne L Vella of Pawling, NY and his pride and joy grandson Nicholas Quartironi of Pawling, NY. Sal will be lovingly remembered by his long time friends Patti Babij and Lisa Curreri.

Private services will be held at a later date on St Croix, USVI.
