ROCKPORT — Rosalie Fogg, 73, died April 19, 2017, at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, following a brief struggle with pneumonia.

Born in Rockland on March 26, 1944, she was the daughter of Edward and Frances E. Harriman Curtis. She was educated in Rockland schools and was proud to earn her GED certificate later in life.

In 1963, she married Charles E. Fogg in Rockland. The couple resided all their married lives in Rockport.

For several years Rosalie worked at F.J. O'Hara & Sons Seafood in Rockland. She later worked at Tibbetts Industries in Camden.

She enjoyed crocheting and doing crafts.

In addition to her parents, Rosalie was predeceased by three siblings, Gloria Coolbroth, Priscilla Havener and Donald Curtis. She is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, Charley; one son, David J. Fogg of Cushing; one sister, Patricia Weaver and her husband, Francis, of Warren; her brother-in-law, Wendell W. Havener of Rockland; two grandchildren, Kevin Whitehill and Frederick Whitehill; three great-grandchildren, Alisyn Whitehill, Isabella Whitehill and Lyllian Whitehill; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Friends and relatives are invited to visit Thursday, April 27, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock Street, Rockland, where a funeral service will be held Friday, April 28, at 2 p.m. Interment will be at a later date in West Rockport Cemetery.
