THORNDIKE — Ronald Earl Jackson, 71, of Thorndike, passed away July 3, 2015, at a Bangor hospital surrounded by his family.

He was born in Belfast on July 4, 1943, the son of the late R. Eugene and Beatrice (Gallant) Jackson.

Ronald graduated from Crosby High School and was self-employed for several years as a master oil burner technician and flight instructor operating out of the Belfast Airport.

Ronald will be sadly missed by his children, Lisa Jackson of Lincolnville, Leigh Jackson and his wife, Kim, of Lincolnville, Jessica Trundy and her husband, Casey Hargrove, of Colorado and California, and Brandie Miville and her husband, Kristopher, of Thorndike; his five grandchildren, Taqqiya, Lateefa, Yusuf, Lindsey and Michael; his great-granddaughter, River; and his sisters, Virginia Dinsmore, Rita Perkins and Shirley Mank.

Per his request, there will be no public services.
