ROCKPORT — The Rockport Town Office has begun planned building improvements, today, Aug. 3, which will likely continue through Labor Day.

Renovations will include a new vestibule on the front of the entry, which is to make the lobby more energy efficient in both the summer and winter months, according to a news release from the town.

The Town Clerk’s office is to get new paint on the walls, and a new carpet.

The Town Clerk's office will be moving temporarily to the Richardson Room, which has its own entrance. The Town Clerk's office will be closed Aug. 3 and 4 and will reopen Aug. 5 in the Richardson Room.
