Rockport Police beat: Passing a stopped school bus, speeding

    ROCKPORT — Rockport police reported the following activity Oct. 9-24. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

    Oct. 9

    Ashlyn Finnemore, 23, of Damariscotta, was issued a summons by Officer Tony Del Vecchio for speeding 54 mph in a 35 mph zone.

    Oct. 11

    Kate McClellan, 25, of Rockport, was issued a summons by Officer Travis Ford for passing a stopped school bus.

    Oct. 14

    Steve M. Josher, 60, of Cushing, was issued a summons by Officer Chris Taylor for inspection violation.

    Dakota J. Young, 21, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Taylor for expired registration.

    Oct. 15

    Andrew Hall, 20, of Rockport, was issued a summons by Camden Officer Sam Butler for insurance violation.

    Oct. 16

    Earl A. Ludman, 75, of Tenants Harbor, was issued a summons by Sgt. Jim Moore for failure to register a motor vehicle within 30-150 days.

    Oct. 17

    Betty Thomas, 67, of Spruce Head, was issued a summons by Butler for speeding 39 mph in a 30 mph speed zone.

    Oct. 18

    Andrew D. White, 43, of Union, was issued a summons by Ford for inspection and insurance violations.

    Oct. 24

    Devin S. Dever, 25, of S. Hope, was issued a summons by Ford for operating with an expired license.
