Rockport Police beat: Assault, inspection violations

    ROCKPORT — Rockport police reported the following activity Oct. 24-Nov. 10. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

    Oct. 24

    Devin Dever, 25, of Hope, was issued a summons by Officer Travis Ford for operating an unregistered vehicle more than 150 days.

    Oct. 31

    Evan A. Cole, 22, of Camden, was issued a summons by Ford for inspection violation.

    Nov. 3

    Juvenile, of Thomaston, was issued a summons by Sgt. Jim Moore for inspection violation.

    Nov. 4

    Lauren Lancaster, 27, of Newport, was charged by Officer Sam Butler with assault.

    Nov. 10

    Janet O’Brien, 55, of Owls Head, was issued a summons by Moore for operating with an unregistered motor vehicle.

    Krista Hazlett, 22, of Cushing, was issued a summons by Moore for speeding 57 mph in a 35 mph zone.
