Send your thoughts, questions, complaints, and compliments to libraryconsultant@town.rockport.me.usThere is still time to let the Rockport Public Library's consultant know what you think.

Steve Podgajny, who serves as director of the Portland Public Library as well as a statewide library consultant, is developing a case statement assessing the library's current programs and services and exploring how the library may evolve to meet current and future needs. He has requested that public input, comments, questions, and ideas can be emailed directly to libraryconsultant@town.rockport.me.us. The deadline for comments is May 29.

The final report, to be delivered in June, will identify necessary program spaces and describe the scale and rationale for those spaces. A draft will be presented at a public meeting on June 15 (Rockport Opera House, 7 p.m.), and a final report to the Library Committee later that month.

The public meeting has been postponed from its original June 3 date at Podgajny's request.
