The Rockport Fire and Police departments are hosting their second annual charitable tournament at Goose River Golf Saturday June 9, starting at 8 a.m. The teams will compete in a scramble format over 18 holes using handicaps.  

The Fire Department is holding a raffle on prizes donated by local businesses. The department will have several rounds of golf donated by many coastal golf course, tools, car washes, and gift certificate to local restaurants. Prince’s Furniture is donating a leather chair for our Closest to the Pin on Hole 6.

All the players will receive a free BBQ lunch with the food being donated by French & Brawn, Hannaford, and Megunticook Market.  

The department is looking for a few more donations to help the raffle draw donations for charities. Those interested in donating raffle items or sponsoring a hole can contact Fire Chief Jason Peasley, 207-446-8620, or firechief@town.rockport.me.us.
