Rockland woman arrested following I-295 crack cocaine bust

    Friday night, June 1, around midnight, Maine State Police stopped a car on I-295 in South Portland after it had traveled north along the Maine Turnpike, according to a news release from the Maine Public Safety Office.
     
    The roadside investigation lead to a State Police drug dog conducting a sniff of the vehicle, police said.
     
    K9 Mack indicated to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle and a search was conducted. During the search, 263 grams of crack cocaine were found, police said.
     
    Gregory Martin of Bronx, New York and Augusta and Holly York, of Rockland, were both arrested for Aggravated Trafficking Schedule W Drugs. They were both transported to the Cumberland County Jail in Portland wher bail was set at $25,000 each.
     
    Gregory was additionally charged with Fugitive from Justice warrant out of New York from 2013 for parole violation stemming from drug charges.
