BELFAST — Raymond L. Bailey, 49, passed away Sept. 27, 2014, at Tall Pines in Belfast. He was born May 12, 1965, in Belfast, the son of Claude and Vera Bailey.

Raymond was a hard worker, always busy working with either his father on the rubbish route or making rope in Morrill. He was a very dedicated and responsible father to his kids. He loved to hunt and was known for being a joker.

He was predeceased by his father; his uncles, John Sanford and Vaughn Gardiner.

His survivors include his mother, Vera Bailey of Belfast; his children, Raymond L. Stover, Michael A. Bailey and Katrina A. Bailey, all of Belfast; his half-brother, Sidney Harvey of Belfast; his uncles and aunts, Mark Bailey, Arlene Reynolds, Clara Buzzell and her husband, Arthur, Merwin Harvey and his wife, Faye, Ralph Harvey and his wife, Ethel, Raymond Harvey and his family, Elizabeth Keniston, Arthur Bailey and his wife, Marge, Merlene Ahearn and her husband, Floyd, Varina Blood and her husband, David, Conrad Gardiner and his wife, Barbara, and Enoch Gardiner and his wife; his nieces, Shaina Brown and Jen Harvey; his cousins, Darrell Smith and his wife, Laurie, Darlene Fuller and her husband, Russell, Bert Bailey and his wife, Christine; as well as his dog, Lost.

A memorial service will be held Friday, Oct. 10 at 1 p.m. at Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave. in Belfast. Committal will follow at Grove Cemetery.
