Peter Ralston: Reliquary

Mon, 02/18/2013 - 8:45pm

Sometimes an image just looks the way you feel on a certain day.

I guess that given this particular day that's why I'm sharing this one.

Today it's cold, blowy, snowing again, the winter is starting to feel long, and it's all just plain grey.

I was exercising creative trespass and I was in That Place I go when my eye, heart and camera are all firing together. Family aside, it's my favorite place in the world.

I vividly remember making this image years ago and I didn't feel this way that long ago day.

But this farm has changed dramatically since then. Not really a farm any more. I think she's gone.

And I've changed a lot, what doesn't? The "me" of all those years ago is not gone, per se, just different, changed.

    Onward... into the enigma.

    On this day.
