TENANTS HARBOR — Peter Stewart Ditchett passed away peacefully on May 25, 2016, following a long illness. He was 72.

He was born to parents Edwin S. and Bernice Trulson Ditchett in Brockton, Mass., in 1943.

A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, his occupation as a heavy construction manager took him to work sites all across this country and to South America and Europe. He retired to Maine to enjoy gardening, antique automobiles and his beloved boxer dogs.

He was predeceased by his parents; and by her step-granddaughter, Ashlyn Pecori. He is survived by his wife, Donnamarie Ditchett; his son, Peter Joseph Ditchett; his daughter in-law, JuliAnn Tuleya Ditchett; and his grandsons, Brian Frost and his wife, Laurie, and Eric Frost and his wife, Dawn, of New Hampshire; his stepdaughter, Andrea Morfa and her husband, Orlando, of Florida; and his step-grandchildren, Nicholas and Kacey Frost and Kimberly and Joe Picori.

A private interment and gathering in his memory will be held this summer at the family's convenience.

Peter's family would like to express their appreciation to the staff and volunteers of Kno-Wal-Lin Hospice and to Sussman House for their many kindnesses.
