Patty Lou "Pat" Tagtmeyer, 89, died Feb. 15, 2015, at Knox Center for Long Term Care in Rockland.

She was born in Mansfield, Mo., and grew up in Wright County, Mo. After high school, she moved to Kansas City, Mo., and married Arthur 0. Tagtmeyer. They were married for 44 years before his death in 1989. Pat and Art raised two children, Jim and Karen, in Independence, Mo., and were long-time members of Messiah Lutheran Church there.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Art; her son, Jim; three brothers; and five sisters.

Survivors include her daughter, Karen Brown; her grandson, Jacob Breshears and his wife, Sara; her granddaughter, Emily Jacobs; and five great-grandchildren, Lauren, Erin, Addison, Owen and Ella, all of Belmont; and a sister, Twajana Chasteen of Springfield, Mo.

Private family services will be held in the summer.
