The Boothbay Region Fellowship is sponsoring young gospel pianist Timothy Noble in a free community performance at the Opera House on Thursday, July 2 at 7:30 p.m.

Noble sat down at a piano at the age of three. By the time he was seven, Noble found himself playing during a performance by the award winning gospel pianist Dino Kartsonakis. According to an article in the Columbus Dispatch, Noble received a standing ovation for his performance playing “God of Our Fathers.”

He went on to create his own arrangements, background tracks and video images (when used).

Now 16, Noble is traveling up from Nashville and will present his patriotic program, "Timothy Noble Honors America."

The concert will honor veterans and their families and will include a selection of patriotic and American music. Some of the works will include, “America the Beautiful,” “Battle Hymn of the Republic,” “Off We Go Into the Wild Blue Yonder,” “Anchors Aweigh” and “The Marines' Hymn.”

Doors open at 7 p.m. for seating.
