ROCKLAND — The Medomak Valley wrestling squad competed Saturday, Dec. 13 against squads from Oceanside and Mount View High Schools in Rockland and fell in both matches. 

In the Oceanside match, the Panthers lost 48-24, while in the Mount View match, the Waldoboro team lost 39-24. 

With the pair of losses, the Panthers fall to 2-6 on the season and head to Bath to battle Morse and Maine Central Institute Wednesday, Dec. 17.

Following are the Panthers’ individual results from the Dec. 13 matches. 

• 120-pounds: Rayanne Leach (3-5) won by forfiet from Mt. View; lost by pin to Jared Robishaw from Oceanside at 2:47.
• 126-pounds: Deagan Poland (4-4, 1 pin) lost by pin to Jonathan Lawrence of Mt. View at 3:18; won by forfeit from O.S.
• 132-pounds: Jared Overlock 2-5,1 pin. lost 10-7 to Jason Barnard of Mt. View, lost by pin to Shannon Ripley of O.S. at 4:47
• 138-pounds: Steven Thompson (5-3, 3 pins) won by pin over Anthony Moore of O.S. at 5:15. 
• 138-pounds: Tim Jerome (3-2, 1 pin) lost by pin to David Young of O.S. at 1:51
• 145-pounds: Steven Thompson lost by pin to Anthony Barnard of Mt. View at 1:50
• 145-pounds: Tim Jerome got a forfeit from Mt. View 
• 152-pounds: Quinn Ashmore (5-3, 3 pins) got a forfeit from Mt. View; won by pin over Dallas Ball of O.S. at 3:48
• 160-pounds: Andrew Cronk (5-3, 4 pins) got a forfeit from Mt. View; lost by pin to Elvis Bowen of O.S. at 0:52
