OWLS HEAD The Owls Head Transportation Museum is offering an array of children's activities during February school vacation week, beginning Monday, Feb. 15 and extending through Friday, Feb. 19 with workshops for students beginning at 10 a.m. each day.

Designed for youth ages 6 to 14, these fun and educational workshops are free and materials will be provided. Preregistration is strongly encouraged as seating is limited, and children participating in vacation week activities must be accompanied by an adult.

Schedule:

Monday, Feb. 15
Paper Airplane Workshop — Open to a variety of skill levels, these paper airplanes range from the usual to some exotic gliders that fly on a wave of air.

Tuesday, Feb. 16
Air Powered Cars — Build your own toy, propeller-driven car. Participants will have the opportunity to test their cars in the Museum.

Wednesday, Feb. 17

Friday, Feb. 19
