ROCKPORT — A report of an overturned dump truck on Main Street just before 8 a.m. has prompted closure of the road at Route 1 and Mistic Avenue while crews work to remove the truck from the ditch.
An excavator was on scene as of about 10 a.m. to right the truck, and Rockport Fire Department is also there to assist in cleanup of any leaked fluids.
According to Rockport police, the driver was not injured. The cause of the accident is not yet known.
