The Midcoast sports scene was busy with several sporting events on Monday, Nov. 21.

Medomak ahead 12-6 after the first, 34-15 at the half, 56-27 after three.

8th Grade Girls Basketball: Oceanside 32, Medomak 31

It was the season opener away for Medomak. Oceanside took the early lead and was up 15-2 at the end of the first quarter. Hannah Lee had scored the [lone] hoop. In the second quarter, MMS was only able to score four more hoops to make it 23-10 at the half, Oceanside in the lead.

The third quarter was another story for MMS. They scored 17 points in the third to Oceanside’s three points and at the close of the third Medomak had its first lead 27-26.

The fourth quarter was full of action. Back and forth and back and forth it went. Oceanside was able to score six points and MMS was only able to score four points.
