Norman C. Flagg, obituary

Norman C. Flagg, 56, of Waterville, passed away unexpectedly on July 6, 2016. He was born Dec. 29, 1959, in Belfast. Norman enjoyed being around family and friends and being in the outdoors, and also loved being crafty with wood.

Norman was predeceased by his parents, Rudolph and Geneva Flagg of Belfast; two brothers, Rudolph Flagg Jr. and James Flagg, both of Belfast; and two brothers-in-law, Harold Leathers Sr. and George Seeley, both of Belfast.

Norman is survived by his long-time companion, Brenda Rawson of Waterville; two sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" Seeley and Cynthia "Cindy" Leathers, both of Belfast; one brother, Paul Flagg Sr. and his wife, Brenda Flagg, of Belfast; and his son, Norman C. Flagg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; as well as many great-nieces and great-nephews; and three very close friends, Mark Bailey, Meldon Bates and Ricky Cochran.

Norman will be greatly missed by all.

Friends and family are invited to a graveside prayer on Friday, July 15, at 2 p.m. at Grove Cemetery, officiated by the Rev. Joel Krueger of the First Church of Belfast. Donations in lieu of flowers will be accepted by his brother, Paul Flagg Sr., 35 Jacobs Road, Belfast, ME 04915.
