WARREN — Knox County Sheriff's Office along with Warren Fire and Rescue were called to a vehicle crash at the intersection of Western Road and Route 90 at 1:30 p.m., Sept. 11. The crash involved two vehicles and a motorcycle.

The Sheriff’s Office said in a news release that, “according to witnesses and those involved, a 2005 Subaru, driven by Ann Robison, 63, of Thomaston, had stopped at the intersection on Western Road and then proceeded to cross, heading south. As she did, she pulled in front of a 1999 BMW motorcycle heading West on Route 90, operated by Derek Ahl, 43, of South Berwick.

“Ahl struck the driver's side of the Subaru and went airborne over the car. The motorcycle veered off the Subaru and into a 1999 Nissan truck, which was stopped at the stop sign facing north. Andrew Bjerrum, 44, of Damariscotta, was driving that truck.

“Ahl and Robison were checked at the scene by paramedics of Warren Ambulance. Ahl was shaken up and sore, but no injuries were reported and Robison received a minor cut on the face and ear from glass. Bjerrum was not injured. No one was transported to a hospital.

“The Subaru's damage is estimated at $5,000; the Nissan at $2500 and the BMW motorcycle was totaled.”
