Angel McCracken, 26, of Damariscotta, who was arrested in late May on prostitution charges, when several alleged clients were summonsed on charges, has not been charged with any crime, according to the District Attorney’s office.

McCracken was taken into custody by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, according to a July press release. The release said McCracken had been charged with several counts of a Class E misdemeanor, Engaging in Prostitution.

However, since then, no court date has been scheduled. The state has not filed charges against McCracken, according to Assistant District Attorney Matthew G. Kanwit.

The charges against the others named in the release were all Class E Engaging a Prostitute. James W. Carville II, 32, of Sabattus pleaded no contest and has paid a $350 fine, per court records. Five of the other men are scheduled for dispositional conferences on Aug. 28.  They are Jason D. Macdonald, 37, of Bath; Alexander A. Paine, 28, of Camden; Daniel M. Ronco, 50, of Arundel; Harrison C. Rossi, 19, of Milbridge; and  William R. Waldron, 41, of Bowdoinham.

Paul H. Shanley, 40, of Everett, Massachusetts has a Sept. 11 court appearance.
