On Monday, Oct. 5, Chris Wolf will host Douglas Laliberte of Granite Orthodontics, Rockport. The show will be broadcast on WRFR Community Radio, Channel 7 Maine Coast TV, and streamed live on www.mainecoast.tv/streaming, 7 to 8 a.m.

Brace yourself for a great show which will be about orthodontics and teeth. Orthodontics is for all ages, not just children. You’ll have the opportunity to call in or email questions during the live broadcast for challenging questions to Doug and Chris.  By the end of the show, you'll surely be straightened out.

Laliberte grew up in Winslow in a supportive family that helped him to be involved in the local community. With a father as a dentist, and assisting in his practice, he always had an interest in dentistry.

Laliberte attended Colby College, in Waterville, where he graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in environmental policy, cum laude. He continued on to dental school at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, earning his doctorate of dental medicine, summa cum laude.

His commitment to the community is evident through his compassionate approach to serving those in need. He has been involved in Bridge Over Troubled Water Volunteer Dental Services, traveled with Cape Cares Dental Mission to Honduras, and volunteered for the Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope and Healing. Laliberte has become involved in the Lobster Festival and Chamber of Commerce.  

Granite Coast makes several donations for local auctions to benefit causes, and sponsors all the local little leagues and Rockland recreation programs.
