ROCKLAND – With just one day left for games in the regular season it looks like all but two of the games will get played with the nice weather expected for today.

Wednesday saw some important games in the fight for placement with the league playoffs starting Monday, July 6.

Georges Valley 10, Camden 0… At Rockport the Georges Valley team took a 10-0 six inning mercy rule win over host Rockport.

Georges Valley scored three runs in the first inning, four in the third, two in the fourth and one in the sixth. Georges Valley goes to 6-3 on the season while Rockport falls to 2-7.

Pitching for Georges Valley were, Uriah Thongsphaphone, Michael Dougherty (4) and Austin Pagano (6). Combined they allowed four hits in the game.

For Camden, Nate Van Lonkhuyzan, Joergen Ostensen (5) pitched allowing 10 runs on 10 hits.
