WARREN — The veterinary practices of Knox, Lincoln and Waldo counties have pooled their resources and opened a new after-hours emergency clinic for the treatment of small animals.

The practices' emergency on-call services for dogs and cats will now be offered in one centrally located facility rat 191 Camden Rd. (Route 90) in Warren. The hospital will be staffed after normal operating hours with veterinarians and technicians providing professional services for all clients and their pets.

The doors will be open starting Friday, May 22, at 5:30 p.m. The clinic's hours will be 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. on weeknights, and around the clock on weekends and on major holidays, including New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

The Midcoast Animal Emergency Clinic includes the following veterinary practices: All Creatures Veterinary Hospital, Atlantic Veterinary Care, Blake Animal Hospital, Boothbay Animal Hospital, Camden Hospital for Animals, Coastal Veterinary Care, Damariscotta Veterinary Clinic, Harbor Road Veterinary Hospital, Medomak Veterinary Services and PenBay Veterinary Associates.
