Medomak Valley grapplers have good showing at preseason match
BATH — On Saturday the Panthers went to the Westlake preseason tournament at Morse of Bath and came in ninth out of 18 teams with 39 points. A good start to the season for the Panther grapplers.

113 pounds — Will Perry was pinned by Jacob Booth (Nokomis) at 2:30. Won 5-2 over Jordan Douglas (Morse). Lost by pin to Joe Pilecki (Noble) at 0:53. Perry took fourth place.
120 pounds — Rayanne Leach lost 13-0 to ZyAnthony Moss (MCI). Won by pin over Hannah Workman (Lincoln Academy) at 1:59. Lost by pin to Richard Oberg from (Skowhegan) at 1:49.
126 pounds — Deagan Poland won by pin over Chris Watrous (MCI) at 1:14. Lost by pin to Peter Del Gallo (Gardiner) at 3:31. Won by pin over Jabbar Belin (Mt. Ararat) at 1:20. Lost by pin to Hil Keisker (Noble) at 3:30. Poland took fourth place.
138 pounds — Steven Thompson won by pin over John Grenier (Noble) at 3:30. Lost to Luke Bolster (Skowhegan) 9-8.
145 pounds — Elias Miller won by tech fall 15-0 over Kyle Baty (Lincoln Academy). Won by pin over Kayne Bowden (Cony) at 1:48. Lost by pin to Kasey Rogers (Noble) at 3:50. Won by pin over Terry Storer (Mt. Blue) at 4:27. Won by pin over John Bell (Skowhegan) at 3:30. Miller took third place.
152 pounds — Andrew Cronk lost by pin to Jordan Cole (Lisbon).
160 pounds — Tim Jerome lost by pin to Travis Pelletier (Noble) at 2:15.
195 pounds — Logan Wright lost by pin to Brandon Higgins (Lincoln Academy) at 1:05.
285 pounds — Noah Munn lost by pin to Leon Perreault (Mt. Ararat) at 3:29. Lost by pin to Alex Thang (Gardiner) at 0:34.
Medomak will open the regular season Saturday, Dec. 5 in Belfast at the Belfast Duals starting at 9 a.m.
