ROCKPORT — The Maine Coast Skaters Association Tier IV Squirts hosted the Maranacook tier IV Squirts at Midcoast Recreation Center in Rockport Sunday afternoon, and took home a 3-2 win over the visitors.

The Storm’s Cameron Brown scored his second goal with 21 seconds left in the game to break the 2-2 tie and give the Storm the hard fought win.

Brown scored his first goal at 4:30 in the first period, with an assist from Camden Powell.

After going scoreless in the second period, Aiden Aselton scored at 5:58 in the third period to tie the score at two.

Brown then put the puck in the back of the net with 21 seconds left for the win.

For Maranacook, Wyatt Lyons scored both goals, the first at 5:56 in the first period and the second at 2:21 of the second period, with an assist from Nicholas Keezer.

Both young goalies did an outstanding job between the pipes, Landen Robitaille for Storm and Eli Hopkins for Maranacook.

In this game, Robitaille was just one save better for the win.

The next game for the MCSA Squirts will be Saturday, Dec. 6, against SAM Squirts Tier IV White, at the Bank of Maine Ice Arena in Hallowell.
