The three candidates, representing Camden, running for the two open Camden-Rockport and Five Town CSD school board seats will state their positions at a Candidates Forum Monday, May 23, at the Washington Street Conference Room. The forum will begin at 7 p.m. and will be broadcast live on Time Warner Channel 22 in Camden and streamed everywhere on Town Hall streams. The forum is open to the public.

The candidates are Rebecca S. Flanagan, M. Eileen Morelli and Peter Orne. John Lewis and Victoria Manzi, whose terms expire in June, did not take out papers.

The panel will consist of Kim Lincoln, editor of the Camden Herald; Lynda Clancy, editorial director at PenBayPilot.com; and Steve Betts Midcoast reporter for the Bangor Daily News.

The moderator will be Don White.

After brief opening remarks each candidate will be asked questions from the panel. A portion the forum will be open to the audience in attendance. The forum will finish with closing statements from the candidates.

The school board elections will be held at the Public Safety Building on Washington Street between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., Tuesday, June 14.
