LINCOLNVILLE — Matthew A. “Skit” Robbins-Linscott unexpectedly passed away on Aug. 24, 2016. Matt was born Sept. 19, 1987, in Santa Cruz, Calif., but was raised and did all of his schooling in Lincolnville. He graduated from Camden Hills Regional high in 2006.

He resided in Lincolnville with his loving family up until his passing. Matt(skit) was an absolutely awesome, handsome young man, with a contagious laugh, a beautiful smile and baby blue eyes to die for.

Matt loved being outdoors; some of his favorite hobbies were hunting, fishing, riding his ATV, hiking, swimming and flirting with gals (lol). He just loved anything that was outdoors.

Matt had an abundance of friends, way too many to list; but one of his closest friends, who was like family, was Dayton Bragg. Matt was such a very caring and giving guy to everyone. He would always lend a hand, if needed or do anything to help. He was a hard worker and gave all he could give while he was working. He was just an all around perfect son, brother, uncle and friend.

Matt is survived by his parents, Craig and Jamie Thomas; two sisters, April and Jessica Linscott; a niece, Kaylee; and a nephew, Tucker, all of Lincolnville; and his grandmother, Sue and her husband, Jasper Locke, of Palm Bay, Fla.

He was predeceased by his grandfather, Jon Linscott of Thomaston in 2011.

Matt also had many, many, aunts, uncles and cousins on both the Linscott and Thomas sides of the family.

He will be never ever forgotten by whom he touched the hearts of, which is a heck of a lot of people.

Rest in peace, our blue-eyed baby boy.
Love always and forever,
Mom, Dad, Jess and April

A celebration of Matt’s life will be held Saturday, Sept. 3, at 4 p.m. at the Linscott home, 8 Masalin Road, Lincolnville, Maine.
