LEWISTON/NORTHPORT — Mary Lou Crawford, 91, passed away on April 17, 2017, in Lewiston. She was born in Camden on June 8, 1925, to Charles S. and Alice (Geduldig) Meservey.

Mary Lou graduated from Camden High School and later studied nursing and became a licensed practical nurse and worked at Waldo County General Hospital until her retirement. She was full of fun, jokes and loved working with all the doctors and nurses. Mary Lou loved being on the ocean and surrounded by her family and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her daughters, Carol Ann McMahan and Janice Crawford; and her sons, Barry Crawford and Brent Crawford. Mary Lou had several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff at Russell Park and Beacon Hospice for their care and consideration during Mary Lou's last days.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, May 7, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Riposta Funeral Home.
