ROCKPORT — Maritime Energy is helping to support the new Rockland Harbor YMCA branch.

"We are thrilled for the YMCA to be expanding to Rockland and we are proud to support their mission. The opportunities for wellness and youth development are so important to the communities we live and work in," says Susan Ware Page, third generation of Maritime.

Maritime Energy is a local, family owned and operated full service energy company serving Knox, Lincoln, Waldo, Hancock, and part of Kennebec counties. Maritime's fuel products include heating oil, Bioheat, K-1, diesel, biodiesel, propane and gasoline.

Maritime Energy has a professional service team of licensed technicians along with 24 hour service. Maritime Energy also operates ten Maritime Farms convenience stores located throughout Midcoast Maine.

The new Rockland Harbor YMCA branch is expected to open the first week in December. The 8,000-square foot facility is located at 12 Water St., in Rockland. That space was formally occupied by Amalfi's Restaurant.

Services will include a state-of-the-art fitness center, indoor and outdoor wellness studios, and a childcare center to serve families with infants through preschoolers.
