SEARSMONT — Margie Dillon Grover, 88, of Searsmont, went home to be with the Lord on Jan. 17, 2016, at her home in Searsmont.

Margie was a member of Truth Baptist Church in Jefferson. She was born June 14, 1927, in Plymouth, N.C., the daughter of Martie (Sawyer) Dillon and James Abner Dillon.

She was predeceased by her husband, Frank.

She is survived by four children, Gary and his wife, Penny, of Town Hill, David and his wife, Lois, of Searsmont, Tricia and her husband, John, of Franklin, and Carol and her husband, Bill, of Searsmont; 12 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. She was also survived by her "sister," Elsie Greer of Virginia Beach, Va.

She was a devoted wife and mother who loved her Lord.

A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, ,Jan. 20 at 2 p.m. at Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave. in Belfast, with the Rev. Joshua Lovelace officiating.

The family requests that no flowers be sent to the funeral home.
