Maine Conservation Voters host film, panel discussion on Climate Change Solutions in Maine: Age of Change. The event begins with the screening of the film, The Age of Consequences, followed by a panel discussion on climate solutions in Maine.
 
The event is scheduled for March 11, 4-6:30 p.m., at the Colonial Theatre (Dreamland Room) in Belfast.
 
The Age of Consequences investigates the impacts of climate change on increased resource scarcity, migration, and conflict through the lens of US national security and global stability.

The film will be followed by a panel discussion about climate change solutions and how to move forward at the state and local level.

 
The panel will feature Samantha Paradis, Belfast Mayor; Erin Herbig, Maine House Majority Leader and Representative of Belfast, Northport and Waldo; Charlotte Warren, Representative of Hallowell, Manchester, and West Gardiner; Richard Nelson, local lobsterman; Josie Cowles, Belfast student; and others.
