WATERVILLE — Four local high school field hockey teams will be represented at the 2014 Maine Field Hockey Festival and Moe McNally Senior All-Star game Saturday, July 26 at Waterville’s Thomas College.

Local players scheduled to participate in the all-star game are Addie Bragg (Camden Hills), Braley Leadbetter (Mt. View), Isabella Garver (Oceanside), Madison Cummings (Belfast) and Savana Wood (Belfast).

Local participating teams in the Maine Field Hockey Festival will be Oceanside High School, Camden Hills Regional High School, Mt. View High School and Belfast Area High School.

A total of 35 teams will participate in the festival and will join a pool of other schools they will not face during the regular season. Each game during the festival will run 25 minutes long, instead of the usual 60 minutes, and will have seven players on the field for each squad, instead of the usual 11. The fields will also be smaller and will be for those who still have high school eligibility.

The festival contests will begin at 8 a.m. and the all-star game will begin at noon.

Ticket prices are $5 for adults and $3 for students.
