FRANKFORT — Linda A. McMillan, 71, of Frankfort, passed away in Belfast on March 12, 2017. She was born Aug. 7, 1945, in Bangor, to John and Louise (Foley) McMillan.

Linda attended Winterport High School and years later earned her GED certificate.

Linda worked as a waitress and also for a doctor's office in Bangor. In her spare time she enjoyed the outdoors, tending her flowers and watching birds.

She was predeceased by both of her parents; and two brothers, Leroy and James "Donald" McMillan. Linda is survived by her sister, Barbara Sawyer and her husband, Larry, of Winterport; her sister-in-law, Valerie McMillan; her special nieces, Julia Haskell, Diana LeBlanc and her husband, David, and Sherri Sawyer; her special nephew, Joseph Haskell III and his wife, Vicki; as well as several other nieces and nephews; her cousins, Kenneth Foley and his wife, Mary, William Foley, Elaine Mello, and Carolyn Bowman; and her special friend, Millie Brassbridge.

Private burial will be held in the spring at Oak Hill Cemetery in Winterport.
