Four residents, representing The Lincoln Home, braved a windy day on Monday to shop at Hannafords for neighbors in need this Thanksgiving. Armed with a list of ideas, they filled their baskets with enough fixings for Thanksgiving dinners and deserts to feed ten families in Lincoln County.  

Everyone shared memories of favorite dishes from their family or food they wanted to include. The Ecumenical Food Pantry, at the Second Congregational Church in Newcastle, will be in charge of delivering the Thanksgiving baskets to families in our local community.
