To Rockland’s mayor and Council members,

I am writing in regards to the presentation of "Resolution of Commitment To Promoting An Open, Respectful, Healthy Community." Am hoping that this can eventually be passed to show what we stand for and that we can work well together; since our commonality far outweighs our differences.

Seeing the turnout of 180 people last fall for a presentation of "Come Meet Your Muslim Neighbor" at Rockland Congregational Church surprised us. It showed many do not want polarization, but dialogue with one another. We are a community that offers HOPE to all. I am proud to be part of that.
