“All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” — Edmund Burke, Irish Statesmen and Member of Parliament

When you’re ready to vote, are you sure you’ve considered everything?

You are not voting for a beauty pageant contestant, a sports personality figure, or an Academy Awards actor. It is much more important than that.

You must be certain of who will do the absolute best job of representing you with truth and integrity.

No matter what the election, it is very serious business and not to be taken lightly.

Does it matter if the candidate for governor levels with you and tells you the truth, or do you want a clever politician who will feed you the spin- rhetoric” that makes you feel good?

Let me remind you, If it’s not the whole truth, it’s just spin!

Gov. LePage has leveled with us many times acknowledging the fact that he’s not a politician, he’s a businessman and he tells it the way it is.

No spin, just him!

Governor LePage is an honest, honorable, “shoots from the hip businessman,” who tells it the way it is, who is willing to face the problems head-on and find a lasting solution to Maine’s problems, instead of kicking the can down the road and forever postponing any real solutions.

Let’s take an honest look at Gov. LePages’ accomplishments since he took office, not including 2014:

• The hospitals were finally paid a total of $737 million in long overdue welfare Mainecare bills.

• Unemployment if down (April 5.7 percent) and private sector jobs growth is up! More jobs for Mainers! About 18,000 new jobs since Jan. 2011.

• $30 million in savings for businesses as the unemployment rates drop, lowest since 2009.

• Welfare reform: Five-year limit on temporary assistance has resulted in a 50 percent drop in cash welfare, from about 14,000 recipients to 7,000.

• Largest tax cut in Maine’s history; 70,000 low income workers pay no income tax at all and providing a $200 million/year shot in the arm to Maine’s economy.

• Public school spending increased, more than any previous governor.

• Stopped welfare expansion. Current Medicaid enrollment is already more than one in four Mainers and this is cannibalizing the budget and crowding out needed funding for our roads and bridges, etc. .This will save the hardworking taxpayers $800 million over the next 10 years.

If we don’t come to our senses and help solve the debt problem through the Governor’s wise direction, then we all will lose!

Do you really want someone without a past success record sitting in the Governor’s Office making decisions that directly affect you, or do you want a proven successful businessman with a proven record for your governor, who will make the right decisions for you and who will tell you the truth about the way it is?

Please register and vote for Gov. LePage.
