New Hope for Women would like to express our gratitude to all of the families and businesses who ‘adopted’ one of our transitional housing families this past holiday season.

These families have all experienced domestic abuse, are living in transition, and would have struggled financially to provide gifts for their children. The businesses and community members who came forward fulfilled each families’ wish for what was most needed during the holidays.

We were also thrilled when the Rockland Emblem Club purchased turkey dinners for all of these families.

We cannot thank you enough for ensuring that our transitional housing families enjoyed a very special Christmas. Thanks to Kendall and Phyllis Merriam, The First Bank, The Time Out Pub, The Rockland Emblem Club, Coastal Orthopedics, RHEAL Day Spa, Pen Bay Healthcare and an anonymous family.
