Letter to the Editor: Another successful fundraiser for the Teen and Young Parent Program

ROCKPORT — The Teen and Young Parent Program held another successful Silent Auction, Dessert and Dance featuring Mid Life Crisis on April 29 at the Farmstead Event Center in Rockport. The Governing Board of Directors would like to thank the following sponsors for making this event possible: Viking Lumber, Rock Coast Plumbing & Heating, Lee Watkinson (Darcie Lynn), Luke's Seafood, Central Maine Motors, Duncklee & Nott, Brooks, Inc., Cates Real Estate, Rockland Savings Bank, FSB, and Advocacy Support and Beyond.

The board would also like to extend their appreciation to the following individuals and businesses who donated food and services. The Teen and Young Parent Program is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that is contracted to provide the Maine Families home visiting program in the Midcoast area. Home Visitors provide free parenting education, support and resources to anyone who is pregnant or has a newborn and lives in Knox, Lincoln or Sagadahoc counties.
