CAMDEN — The Camden Public Library announced Thursday the addition of Jody Landrith and Barbara Q. Davidson to the Library Board of Trustees. "Both Barbara and Jody bring a wealth of experience and perspective to the Board of Trustees," said Library Board President Dan Cheever. "They join a hard-working and forward-thinking Board whose members are committed to the Library and its future."

Landrith, VP and Banking Center Manager at Camden National Bank, brings strong community business connections to the Board. Landrith also serves as vice chair of the Camden Area Business Group.

Davidson's interest in libraries is of long duration. She recently said, "Growing up in New York City, I was the beneficiary of some of the best libraries in the country. I value the special role that libraries play in the lives of individuals and communities and I look forward to being part of our active and resourceful library here in Camden."

Library trustees serve for a three-year term, and many stay on for a second term.
