Knox County Sheriff’s Office investigates shots fired, ask public for assistance

    CUSHING — The Knox County Sheriff's Office has recently received complaints of shots fired in the area of homes during the early morning hours in the towns of Friendship and Cushing. The KCSO is actively investigating these complaints, according to a prepared statement.

    KCSO is asking everyone, regardless of town, to be alert to unusual happenings and report things that are unusual. Residents are advised to ensure that they lock their vehicles when unattended and to lock their homes when unattended or sleeping.
