Knox County Criminal Docket closed cases

    ROCKLAND — The following cases were closed in Knox County Unified Court from Oct. 23-27.

    Travis D. Ames, 38, of Rockland, operating under the influence (alcohol), dismissed; driving to endanger, $575 fine, license suspended 30 days.

    Robert Armstead, 60, of Rockland, criminal trespass, $250 fine.

    Robert Baribeau, 26, of North Haven, molesting or disturbing lobster gear, $500 fine.

    Makalya Batty, 21, of Appleton, unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs, dismissed, unlawful furnishing of scheduled drug, dismissed; unlawful possession of scheduled drug, $400 fine, seven days in jail.

    Damian Benner, 20, of South Thomaston, eluding an officer, dismissed; operating while license suspended or revoked, $250 fine, 30 days in jail; operating ATV to endanger, 30 days in jail; failing to stop for officer, 30 days in jail; motor vehicle speeding: 30 plus miles over speed limit, dismissed.

    Gregory K. Cline, 66, of Spruce Head, cruelty to animals, $250 fine.

    Branson Curtis, 23, of Waterville, operating vehicle while license suspended or revoked, $250 fine.

    Sherlande Dario, 31, of Union, operating vehicle without license, $150 fine.

    Mandy J. Dennison, 28, of Rockland, unlawful possession of scheduled drug, $400 fine; violating condition of release, $500 fine.

    Joseph R. Dinapoli, 28, of Cushing, driving to endanger, dismissed.

    Stephen F. Faulcon, 59, of Thomaston, operating vehicle without license, $350 fine.

    Chad H. Fogg, 35, of Warren, trafficking in prison contraband, six months in prison.

    Jason L. Fogg, 35, of Warren, attaching false plates, $250 fine; failure to register vehicle, dismissed.

    Benoit Richard Fyfe, 31, of Rockland, untagged lobster traps, Chapter 25, $750 fine.

    Hannah M. Galkowski, 18, of Lincolnville, failing to stop, provide information, $100 fine.

    Robert A. Garrison, 57, of Owls Head, theft by misapplication of property, two counts. Garrison pleaded no contest which results in a conviction, but includes that the defendant does not admit to guilt. A deferred disposition agreement for one year was reached between the state and defense. Garrison was ordered to pay $10,000 in restitution with $830 monthly payments to the victims over the next year. If Garrison makes the restitution during the year as outlined in the agreement with the state, he will be given a suspended jail term.

    Garrison was convicted of felony theft for using funds from two sets of clients that were paid to him to complete building their houses, pay subcontractors and purchase supplies. He was convicted of using the funds for his own personal benefit. Garrison was indicted by the Knox County grand jury in June 2016.

    Fern R. Gordon, 58, of West Rockport, operating after habitual offender revocation, $1,000 fine, four months in jail; operating after registration suspended, seven days in jail; probation violation for original conviction of operating under the influence (one prior), four months in jail, probation partially revoked, probation continued.

    Brandon T. Grubbs, 23, of Waldoboro, driving to endanger, $1,000 fine, 10 days in jail, license suspended 30 days.

    Ashley Hobbs, 25, of Rockland, furnishing liquor to a minor, $500 fine.

    Adam J. Johnson, 36, of Long Branch, N.J., $1,000 fine, 72 hours in jail, license suspended 150 days.

    Robertus Jongerden, 60, of Rockland, operating under the influence (alcohol), $500 fine, license suspended 150 days.

    Mac A. Laliberte, 26, of St. George, operating under the influence (alcohol), $500 fine, license suspended 150 days.

    Krystal J. Letendre, 42, of Union, operating vehicle without license, $150 fine.

    Jian Guo Li, 54, of Staten Island, N.Y., negotiating a worthless instrument, dismissed.

    Michelle M. Leonard, 50, of Waldoboro, terrorizing, dismissed; criminal threatening, dismissed; disorderly conduct, offensive words, gestures, dismissed.

    Sarah A. Levangie, 43, of Camden, operating under the influence (alcohol), $600 fine, license suspended 150 days.

    Meryk Lowden, 30, of Rockland, disorderly conduct, offensive words, gestures, $250 fine; criminal mischief, dismissed.

    Jeromey O. McPhee, 38, of Waldoboro, operating under the influence (alcohol), $750 fine, license suspended 150 days; driving to endanger, $575 fine, license suspended 30 days; failing to make oral or written accident report, $500 fine; failing to notify of motor vehicle accident, $500 fine.

    James Winfred Myrick III, 42, of Owls Head, operating under the influence (alcohol), $500 fine, license suspended 150 days.

    Seth Neal, 37, of Friendship, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, two years in prison with all but 60 days suspended, probation two years, $1864.13 restitution.

    Alan B. Norwood Jr., 48, of St. George, aggravated criminal mischief, acquitted. Norwood, a licensed lobsterman, had been arrested in connection with the intentional sinking of a 36-foot lobster boat, Oracle, owned by Joshua Hupper, in Tenants Harbor on Sept. 1, 2016. He was arrested Sept. 27 by the Maine Marine Patrol after he had been under investigation, suspected of arranging to have the boat sunk over a dispute he had with Hupper over lobster traps. Norwood told the Marine Patrol that he did not pay his sternman, Vincent Hill, $500 to help sink the boat. Hilt, 22, pleaded guilty March 2 in Knox County Unified Court to felony charges of aggravated criminal mischief and felony theft and is currently serving 24 months in prison. 

    Jeremiah J. Parker, 20, of Rockland, minor possessing liquor, $250 fine.

    Amos A. Robbins, 37, of Thomaston, operating while license suspended or revoked, $500 fine.

    Ronald M. Shellman Jr., 44, of Waldoboro, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, $350 fine.

    Donald W. Simmons, 41, of Waldoboro, untagged lobster traps, Chapter 25, $1000 fine.

    Chase R. Staples, 21, of Rockland, furnishing liquor to a minor, dismissed; violating condition of release, seven days in jail; furnishing liquor to a minor, $500 fine, seven days in jail.

    Christopher Toole, 54, of Brunswick, failing to notify of motor vehicle accident, dismissed; failing to make oral or written accident report, $250 fine.

    Dolores D. Wass, 57, of Rockland, disorderly conduct, loud unreasonable noise, $250 fine.

    Darren E. Webb, 48, of Rockland, operating while license suspended or revoked, $500 fine.

    Cornell Welch, 50, of Thomaston, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, priors, 60 days in jail, $7.59 restitution.

    David L. Yori, 30, of Searsmont, operating vehicle without license, $150 fine.
