Knox County Criminal Docket closed cases

    ROCKLAND — The following cases were closed in Knox County Unified Court from March 26-30.

    Gregory Bedenik, 56, of Friendship, allowing dog to be at large, $50 fine; owning or keeping animal that kills or injures, $50 fine.

    Ian W. Broome, 45, of Rockland, operating under the influence (alcohol), $500 fine, 72 hours in jail, license suspended 150 days.

    Alton Cobb, 50, of Rockland, probation violation for original conviction of aggravated criminal trespass, 30 days in jail, probation partially revoked, probation continued; unlawful possession of scheduled drug, $400 fine, seven days in jail.

    Charles Dodge, 35, of Rockland, aggravate trafficking in scheduled drugs, dismissed; unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs, $400 fine, two years in prison; violating condition of release, dismissed.

    Evelyn A. Donnelly, 58, of Owls Head, operating under the influence (alcohol), one prior, $700 fine, 364 days in jail with all but 14 days suspended, probation one year, license suspended three years, registration suspended; operating vehicle without license-conditions/restrictions, 14 days in jail.

    Jacob Flanagan, 20, of New York, N.Y. and Talicia Martins, 21, of New York, N.Y. The state and attorneys for Flanagan and Martins who were charged by Camden Police Detective Curt Andrick with felony theft and burglary following a series of business break-ins in July 2017 reached a plea agreement. March 29. They agreed to a deferred disposition agreement during a hearing held in Knox County Unified Court. The pair were individually charged with three counts of burglary and felony theft at their initial court appearance Jan. 22. The agreement for Martins stipulates that if she continues substance abuse counseling and provides proof to the state and refrains from additional criminal conduct for the next 12 months, she will be sentenced to 364 days in jail with all but 35 days suspended. She will also be placed on probation for a year following her release. If Martins adheres to the deferred disposition, one of the burglary charges will be dismissed as part of the agreement, the second charge would be amended to a misdemeanor and a third burglary count would be filed as criminal trespass charge. Flanagan's agreement includes for him to serve 21 days in jail if he abides by the same terms defined in Martins’ agreement during the next 12 months. Two burglary charges would also be dismissed and a criminal trespass charge would be filed for the third burglary charge if he adheres to the agreement. In January, they were ordered not to return to the Camden Cone, Smoothie Shack and Francine Bistro, the three businesses burglarized in July. The pair will be required to jointly pay restitution of $4,663 to the businesses. Both are also prohibited from using drugs or alcohol during the 12 months of the agreement will be subject to random searches and testing for drugs. They will each have to pay a $25 monthly administrative fee. 

    Jeffrey E. Godard, 31, of Rockland, unlawful possession of scheduled drug, $400 fine.

    Fern R. Gordon, 59, of West Rockport, keeping dangerous dog, $250 fine.

    Derek Lambert, 28, of Rockland, violating protection from abuse order, 24 hours in jail.

    Michael P. Lawrence, 34, of Rockland, operating while license suspended or revoked, $250 fine.

    Travis L. MacDougall, 43, of Rockland, allowing dog to be at large, $50 fine.

    Randall S. Maloney, 32, of Cushing, possessing lobster beyond minimum or maximum, $4000 fine.

    Paul Mather, 51, of South Thomaston, operating under the influence (alcohol)-no test, dismissed; driving to endanger, $575 fine, license suspended 30 days.

    Joseph M. Pease, 28, of Camden, failure to register vehicle, $150 fine.

    Christina T. Philoon, 30, of Rockland, operating under the influence (alcohol), one prior, $700 fine, 180 days in jail with all but seven days suspended, probation six months, license suspended three years, registration suspended.

    Lawrence D. Platt, 54, of Thomaston, unlawful possession of scheduled drug, dismissed.

    Jonathan E. Robishaw, 20, of Cushing, operating under the influence (alcohol), $500 fine, 48 hours in jail, license suspended 150 days; operating vehicle without license-conditions/restrictions.

    Clifton Ross, 83, of Owls Head, failure to register vehicle, $150 fine.

    Jill Ross, 45, of Warren, operating while license suspended or revoked, $250 fine.

    Donald Seavey, 38, of Rockland, theft by unauthorized taking or transfers, priors, three counts, two years in jail; burglary, two counts, six years in jail, probation two years, restitution $500. Seavey was arrested by Camden Police on Nov. 3 allegedly breaking into a restaurant twice where he had been employed and stealing cash. According to the affidavit filed in court by Camden Police, they were notified by the owner of the Horsefeather Grill Nov. 3 who reported the suspected break-ins and theft of money. The owner told police that he caught Seavey coming out of his office Oct. 30 and $160 in cash was missing from the money bag that was in the office, according to the affidavit. He told the owner that he was in the office to check the work schedule. Seavey had been fired from the restaurant on Oct. 30. Another incident occurred on Oct. 31, when the owner noticed an open window when he arrived to work and found $195 in cash missing from the money bag. The owner then downloaded a program on his computer that would capture images of a person entering through a window. On Nov. 3, the owner checked his computer and saw images of Seavey allegedly entering through the window and allegedly taking cash from the money bag. When asked by police, Seavey denied the burglaries and stealing the money even after police told him about the video.

    Joseph E. Seward, 33, of Ashton, Pa., domestic violence criminal threatening, dismissed; domestic violence assault, 364 days in jail all suspended; domestic violence criminal threatening, nine months in jail, probation two years.

    Alissa Sprague, 36, of Damariscotta, unlawful furnishing of scheduled drug, $400 fine, 18 months in jail with all but 14 days suspended, probation one year.

    Lindsay M. Taylor, 26, of Thomaston, driving to endanger, $575 fine, license suspended 30 days.

    Leann Thivierge, 39, of Appleton, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, $500 fine; failure to register vehicle, $150 fine.

    Zachary W. Titus, 33, of Thomaston, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, priors, 19 months in jail, probation revoked; theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, priors, 19 months in prison, probation revoked; theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, priors, three years in jail; criminal trespass, six months in jail.

    Robert Wienges, 46, of Rockport, failure to register vehicle, $150 fine.

    Denny J. Winchenbaugh, 43, of Camden, operating under the influence (alcohol), two priors, $1100 fine, three years in jail with all but 30 days suspended, probation two years, license suspended six years, registration suspended; operating vehicle without license-conditions/restrictions, 42 days in jail.

    Jeremy M. Yeaton, 36, of St. George, unlawful possession of scheduled drugs, $400 fine, three years in jail with all but 60 days suspended, probation two years.
