THOMASTON — While players for both Kenniston Machine and McMahon Builders were running around the bases at the Thomaston Little League field Friday evening, the fog rolled through the air as a cool night breeze also swept through the area.
At the end of the two-and-a-half hour contest, that lasted four innings due to the mercy rule, Kenniston Machine pulled away with a 27-11 victory.
Both teams have concluded their respective regular seasons. McMahon Builders concluded with a 0-12 record while Kenniston Machine finished with a 7-5 record.
Due to the poor weather conditions and the overall craziness of the game, a legible scorebook was not available.
