JV Windjammers slip past Waterville/Winslow

WATERVILLE — On Tuesday, Dec. 16, the Camden Hills Regional junior varsity 'Jammers ice hockey team won a hard-fought game against the Waterville/Winslow combined junior varsity team by a score of 5-4 at Colby College’s Alfond Rink. 

Scoring for the Windjammers were Dan Lydon, who netted two goals, Caleb Stern, Thomas Griebel and Cam Christie, who each had one. 

Katherine Orne and Will Davee each had an assist for the ‘Jammers. 

In the goalie’s net, RJ Botley had another “solid performance,” according to Windjammers head coach David August. Botley made 18 “quality” saves on 22 shots. 

Camden Hills netted one goal in each the first and third periods, as well as three in the second. Meanwhile, Waterville/Winslow netted three in the second and one in the third.
