Juveniles identified, charged for separate Mount View lock-downs

    Two Waldo County juveniles have been charged following back-to-back lock downs at Mount View High School Sept. 14 & 15, according to a press release from the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office..

    An investigation into the first threatening note, found in a bathroom Sept. 14, resulted in the Sept. 20, arrest of a male juvenile. He has been charged with terrorizing and is being held in a juvenile detention center pending further court action.

    A second juvenile has been charged in relation to a separate threatening note found Sept. 15, which resulted in a second lock-down. The female juvenile was charged with terrorizing and removed from the school campus. She is also currently being held in a juvenile detention center pending further court action.

    Both investigations were conducted by the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office and RSU 3.
