The 2015 Babe Ruth Baseball playoffs for the Midcoast Babe Ruth League have begun and not without some exciting contests. 

Two preliminary round games and a quarterfinal round contest were played in Wiscasset, Thomaston and Waldoboro Monday, July 6 and three more quarterfinals are on the docket for Tuesday, July 7. 

The semifinals will be played Wednesday, July 8 and Thursday, July 9 while the championship will be held Tuesday, July 14 at Oceanside Field in Thomaston. All playoff games start at 5 p.m.
