UNION — Jeannine M. Folsom, 88, went home to be with her Lord on May 3, 2017, at Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport.

Born in Woodstock, New Brunswick, Canada, on Nov. 18, 1928, she was the daughter of James B. and Gennie A. Hall Lockwood. While growing up in Woodstock, she attended local schools and was a graduate of Woodstock High School. She later graduated from business school at Carleton County Vocational School.

On June 27, 1961, Jeannine married Albert C. Folsom in Woodstock. The couple lived most of their married lives in northern Maine. They moved from Houlton to the Midcoast in 1996.

In earlier years, Jeannine enjoyed cooking and sewing. She loved her family and grandchildren and enjoyed keeping up with what was going on in their lives.

In addition to her parents, Jeannine was predeceased by her husband, Albert in August of 2000; and one brother, James B. Lockwood. She is survived by two daughters, Michele D. Morin and her husband, Calvin, of Warren, and Melissa L. Farrell and her husband, Scott, of Alaska; three brothers, Paul E. Lockwood and his wife, Dawn, of Woodstock, N.B., Canada, John P. Lockwood and his wife, Kaye, of Barrie, Ontario, Canada, David C. Lockwood and his wife, Margaret, of Oromocto, N.B., Canada; one nephew and four nieces; five grandchildren, C. Isaac and his wife, Christine Morin, Ethan J. Morin, Micah L. Morin, Joel R. Morin and Crystal L. Farrell; and one great-grandchild, Raymond Isaac Morin.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
