UNITY - Jeanell R. Cunningham, 64, passed away Oct. 30, 2014, at her residence in Unity. She was born in Waterville on Dec. 27, 1949, to Ronald and Jeanette (Jones) Cunningham.

Jeanell grew up in Unity, graduating from Mt. View High School, Class of '67, and graduated Suma Cum Laude earning her bachelor’s degree at Boston University. She settled with her husband in Woburn and worked around the Boston area for Digital & Tech Fusion. Jeanell returned home to her family in Maine after the passing of her husband.

She enjoyed her time on Unity Pond spending time quilting and knitting. She loved her dogs and also enjoyed attending yoga and Nia classes.

Jeanell is predeceased by her parents; and her husband, Joseph Demusz. Survivors include her children, Nicholas Demusz of Northampton, Mass., and Emily Demusz and her fiancé, Dennis Gendron, of Salem, N.H.; her brother, Jay Cunningham and his wife, Lorri, of Burnham, and Kelli Couturier and her husband, Glenn, of Montville; and her pets, Remington, Ace and Carter "the cat."
