James Wesley Jackson, obituary

James Wesley Jackson, 56, of Waldoboro, passed away on April 4, 2018 at his home in Waldoboro with his family by his side.  Jim was born on August 14, 1961 to Merrill A. Jackson and Dorothy H. (Reay) Jackson in Rockland, Maine.

 Jim attended Medomak Valley High School and was a self employed contractor of Double J Builders.  He enjoyed building, “Jimmy rigging”, fishing, hunting, horse shoes, pool, wheelin, outdoor sports, Patriots, NASCAR, and teaching his trade to others.  His shop was his go to place and luckily for him his phone didn’t work out there.  Most spring, summer and fall evenings you would find him standing near his truck with a Budlight in his hand pondering the day and planning for the next.

Jim was predeceased by his significant other Heidi Cioe, grandparents, mother, father, siblings Richard “Ricky” Jackson, Michael Jackson, Rodney Jackson, Marilyn Teele, like a father Patrick Hoch. 

He is survived by his daughters, Fontana L.  Jackson of Waldoboro, Natasha L. Jackson of Waldoboro, Crystal Abbott and husband Tyler of Waldoboro, Amy Jordan of North Carolina, son Devan Robinson of Warren, sisters Joyce Jackson and husband Don Prior of Abbott, Suzanne “Suzie” Jackson of North Carolina, brother Ronald Jackson of Washington, 10 grandchildren, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, his dog companion Roxie. 

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Hall Funeral Homes, 949 Main Street, Waldoboro with Pastor Tom Rawley officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to offset the cost of funeral expenses to Natasha Jackson, 2052 Winslows Mills Road, Waldoboro, Maine  04572.
